Course Description

Adolescence is an exceptional time during a young person’s life when they are learning their identity and who they are, their interests, where they fit in the world, and what they want to do with their life. This period of growth and change can be challenging for neurodivergent teenagers. While neurodivergence allows young people to offer different perspectives and insights, it comes with a number of potential problems. This ecourse introduces you to neurodiversity in teenagers, discusses mental health conditions that are associated with neurodivergence at this age, and provides practical strategies on how to support neurodivergent teenagers.
