This e-learning course is part of a three-level series focused on the thematic area of Working With Children Using Creative And Dramatic Play. The series is structured as follows:

• Level 1: Children aged 3–4 years
• Level 2: Children aged 5–8 years
• Level 3: Children aged 9–11 years

This Level 1 online course is suitable for parents, guardians; early years practitioners; teachers; classroom support staff; foster care support staff; therapists; counsellors; social workers, other caregivers and professionals who support or work with children. It is also suitable to any other adult, who is interested in learning more about children.

• Identify different types of dramatic play.
• Understand the developmental benefits of creative and dramatic play for young children.
• Learn how caregivers and professionals can support children creatively, among 3–4-year-olds.

• Learn how to guide and support 3–4-year-olds in engaging with creative and dramatic play.
• Understand how creative and dramatic play contributes to emotional, language, and social development.
• Acquire practical skills for setting up creative and dramatic play areas tailored to toddlers and pre-schoolers.
• Learn creative and dramatic play tools and strategies to support young children aged 3-4 years old.

Upon successful completion, you will have gained an in-depth knowledge of Working With Young Children Using Creative And Dramatic Play (3-4 year olds) Level 1. A certificate of completion will be available to you, upon successfully passing  this ecourse assessment, and with a score of at least 70%.
